I was inspired to become of photographer at a young age when I discovered a book of Man Ray’s work. I majored in photography during college, which resulted in my first image being published in the student run magazine, the Warehouse Journal. After college, in 1996, I began shooting professionally concentrating on the music scene while working a day job in a camera shop. My day job helped me to continue my photographic education by allowing me to gain a vast knowledge of equipment and introducing me to some of the DC area’s best photographers. I photographed punk legends Fugazi and other local bands and had my work featured on several music CD’s. My work has been exhibited in the MOCA Gallery, Alchemy Nightclub and The Crucible Nightclub all located in Washington, DC. I worked several times as a staff photographer for EXOTICA Detroit and XBALL. My work has been published in two issues of A magazine. I am featured in the June 2013 issue of SKIN MAG. One of my landscapes was recently featured in the LensWork book Our Magnificent Planet 2020, available wherever books are sold. Currently, I am focusing on fashion, fine art, and nature photography.
